Healthy Kids!
was founded in 1982 as a grass-roots initiative of parents
and professionals concerned about child abuse in Lincoln
County.
In 1985, Healthy Kids! was incorporated by the State
of Maine as the
Lincoln County Child Abuse and Neglect Council, and
a part-time coordinator was hired. In the twenty years
since then, Healthy Kids! has grown considerably. We
now have a staff of seven full and part-time employees
and offer close to twenty programs for parents and professionals.

served over 1,400 Lincoln County
residents in 2005.
